First week of running 25 miles since January 2019



Today, I went for a long'ish run. It felt good; not great, but was fairly easy to hold a very consistent pace of 9:30, and even do 1.5 miles of close-to-tempo running. My back pain was the main issue that caused me to stop periodically to stretch, but I don't feel like it slowed me down. My breathing was fine, and my average heart rate was 155 bpm - above the Maffetone number, but well within the range of acceptable for a long run.
